Cambridge Trip

It's Cambridge last week!!

Sorry for the late post..

I was busy with my assignment..

Last minute work agn~ ^^

(I shouldn't procrastinate...ya ya!)

Here are the heavy loads of photos :

1st station : Punting!! Well, it's excited one because most of the punters are so handsome with their biceps working!! OMG

In the punt... Can see how slow the punt moved.. Relaxed!

Beautiful scenery along the Cam river.

I was so excited in the punt and asked the punter so many questions and he is such
a friendly person to answer all my quetions....with a handsome smile all the time!! *.*

Took so many photos with different poses..

After some cam-whore shots and posing, I can feel the sun kissing my skin..

And I was so nervous cox I just realized I forgot to apply my sunblock that morning!

(yes I'm afraid of being tanned.)

Ley asked me to pose for it and act like doing advert for the product.. hehe! I was actually enjoying it~

And my eyes were caught on the look-yummy-licious buns displayed on the shelf..

It's Chelsea Bun!
(I'm still wondering why they name it Chelsea)

It looks like the Cinnabon in Malaysia..but not the same taste.

I still prefer Cinnabon as this one harder or should I say....chewy?

Ley bought this one..which is really super-delicious! It's Choux bun..

Wanna learn a lesson? Never take photo with your mouth full..

I looked so funny and fat lo.. hahahaha!

That was the wrapper of the Chelsea bun and I was looking for a dustbin along the street for almost 20min! So hard to find a dustbin lo..

While waiting for frens..

St. John College!!

It's an old style college with a very big compound and incredible architectural..

Entrance fee of £2 and we get this leaflet..

Choir hall.. Very very beautiful!

College compound.. Everyone's dream to study and graduate here..

(St.John college is part of Cambridge University)

p/s : Cambridge University is NOT only ONE university. It consists of several colleges.

Those bands are provided by the organizer. We had a lot of fun with it!

Well, it's a nice party..

With dance floor, games & singing room..

But it was too crowded.

With 1200 people in that building! (OMG)

The dancing room was so stuffy like there's no ventilation at all..

AT ALL!!
(luckily no one had fainted=.=)

We can even feel the hot wave right before entering the room.

There's also Wii provided and also a singing room..
(which I din manage to go and enjoy it)

We left quite early because cant really dance with a limited space and air supply..

I would give 80% for this party..

Well done for those who make the night happens!!

United Kingdom & England?

Well well well..

My dear asked me about this question last 2 weeks..

"Baby, since u're in UK now.. Can u tell me what's the difference between

ENGLAND and UNITED KINGDOM?"

And I was like..

"Errr.................England......UK........."

And he is so bad by not telling me and asking me to find out myself..

(i'm lazy worm =.=)

Well, I really have no idea about it!
( i'm poor in geography or whatever =.=)

And today, I just remember about this when I see "BANK OF ENGLAND" on a 10pounds notes!

In Mandarin, we always say 英国 to refer to UK..

And 英国 is actually means England and thus my mind had set that

英国=UK.

Well, it is a big stupid mistake!

Out of curiousity, I Google-ed about it and also seek some advice from a local resident (Andrew Firecracker)..

ENGLAND is actually a part of UNITED KINGDOM!

Hahahah!!

(happy cause finally got the answer & dear here's my answer! :P)

And please don't laugh me for my stupidity.. :(

Here I quote :

"The United Kingdom is consisting four countries : England, Northern Ireland, Scotland & Wales."

Manchester United

This weekend's trip :

City of Football -- Manchester United!!!!

Same like last week..woke up super early..

MU is like 1 and half hour away from Sheffield..

Our 1st stop is to the famous stadium..

Old Trafford Stadium!!

Lots of matches had been held here..

And many well-known players also stepped into this stadium!!

Oh David Beckham, Owen, Rooney and many many more too~

Visited to the museum as this stadium had being existed for 100 years!

and of course to the stadium too!!

Ticket.. Our session is at 12.10pm.

Windy day..

After the museum and stadium tour, I went to China town of Manchester City..

(wondering why Sheffield no china town)

There's a lot of chinese restaurant but not cheap.. Each meal could cost around 6 to 10pounds.

But there's a lot of chinese buffet which is 6 pounds per person..

I din manage to enjoy it cox busy walk walk~

Manchester is much more happening that Sheffield obviously..
(because Manchester bigger maybe?)

Went to Exchange Square which is like Pavillion in KL..

Lots of branded stuff..

Gucci, Burberry, LV, Juicy Couture, Lacoste, Swarovski, Zara and so on..

*.* so many.. I wan to get one if possible! haha
